EM has used its American Reinvestment and Recovery Act (ARRA) funds to touch tens
of thousands of citizens and help cleanup the environment. With active cleanup efforts
in over 20 States, ‘shovel-ready’ jobs are available coast-to-coast. To date, 57
job fairs have been held. A recent job fair in Augusta, Georgia drew 13,500 attendees
for available ARRA related positions at the Savannah River Site (SRS).
