Mr. Newson has a B.S. in Civil Engineering. He has more than twenty years experience working at the Headquarters and the Richland Operations office in the areas of facility safety, environmental remediation, project management, and budget development. He has provided management oversight for multi-functional nuclear and non-nuclear facilities ranging in complexity from processing buildings to waste facilities containing plutonium, uranium, cesium, strontium, sodium, nitric acid and other radioactive and chemical materials. Currently, he is acting director of the Office of Project Management.
